Smallbird Terms of Use

1. Who can use Smallbird
You must be 18 or older. By using Smallbird you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.
2. Not medical advice
Smallbird offers general information and encouragement. The recovery timeline and tips come from public health sources and describe what is typical, not what will happen to you. Nothing in the app is medical advice, a diagnosis or treatment. For health questions, nicotine replacement, medication, pregnancy, or any symptom that worries you, talk to a doctor or pharmacist. In an emergency, or if you feel unsafe, contact your local emergency number.
3. The AI coach
The coach's replies are written by an AI model. They can be wrong, incomplete or not right for you, and you use them at your own judgement. Please don't send other people's personal information, and don't try to make the coach produce harmful, illegal or unrelated content. If a reply seems wrong or inappropriate, flag it in the app. We may limit how many messages can be sent, and may change or pause the coach at any time.
4. Your data
Your data stays on your phone, as described in the Privacy Policy. You are responsible for your phone and for any backup file and passphrase you create. If you lose the passphrase, we cannot recover the backup.
5. Smallbird Pro (if offered)
Smallbird is free in this version. If paid plans are offered later:
- Subscriptions are bought and billed through Google Play, at the price shown in the app before you buy.
- They renew automatically at the end of each period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends. You can cancel any time in Google Play → Payments & subscriptions; you keep Pro until the end of the period you paid for.
- If a free trial is offered, you will be charged when it ends unless you cancel before then. The app reminds you the day before.
- Refunds follow Google Play's refund policy. Your rights under consumer law are not affected.
6. The app itself
Smallbird, its design, text and illustrations belong to Elite Corner. You may use the app for your own personal, non-commercial use. Don't copy, resell or reverse-engineer it, or interfere with the service.
7. No warranty, and limits
We work hard to make Smallbird reliable and kind, but it is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. To the extent the law allows, Elite Corner is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for decisions you make based on the app or the coach. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
8. Changes
We may update these terms. We will change the date above, and say so in the app if the change matters. Continuing to use Smallbird after a change means you accept it.
